Xscape is ready to obtain the Girl of Soul honor on the 2022 Soul Prepare Awards. The Georgia quartet is simply the second group to obtain the honour, following SWV in 2017. These two teams squared off in one of many most-viewed Verzuz specials so far.
Hosted by actor, comic and author Deon Cole, the 2022 Soul Prepare Awards premieres Sunday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BET and BET Her.
The foursome — “Kandi” Burruss-Tucker, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, and sisters Tamika Scott and LaTocha Scott – amassed six prime 10 hits on the Billboard Scorching 100 within the Nineteen Nineties, topped by “Simply Kickin’ It,” which reached No. 2 in 1993.
