Nickelback have shared the music video behind their recently-released single, These Days, lifted from the forthcoming new album, Get Rollin’, set to reach on November 18 through BMG.
The video sees the Canadian exhausting rockers replicate on fond recollections through a set of unique pictures and movies from the band’s archives.
These Days is a nostalgic, syrupy ballad completely primed for waving cigarette lighters within the air, that includes reflective lyrics that recall “the nice outdated days” of the band’s youth, resembling staying out previous curfew, falling in love for the primary time and attending Weapons ‘N Roses gigs with that particular somebody.
Frontman Chad Kroeger croons in his trademark husky timbre: ‘Keep in mind when the road lights got here on, we needed to be dwelling / Keep in mind when Elm Road got here on, couldn’t watch it alone / Keep in mind each prank name we made, and star sixty 9’.

Serving because the second single from the brand new album, These Days is a far cry away from Get Rollin‘s first launch, the rollocking riff-heavy observe San Quentin, which was unveiled in September.
Talking to DJ Terrie Carr at New Jersey radio station 105.5 WDHA in regards to the lyrical inspiration for San Quentin, Kroeger defined: “I met the [San Quentin prison] warden at a celebration, and I could not imagine how younger he was. I used to be, like, ‘There’s simply no method that you are the warden of San Quentin!’ and everybody was, like, ‘Yup. He’s.’
“[Restaurateur, author, and TV presenter] Man Fieri’s a buddy of mine, and I used to be at his birthday celebration a couple of years again. And all the time we had been speaking, I am, like, [laughs] I am chatting with this man, however in my head all I may take into consideration was, ‘I am gonna write a music known as San Quentin. That is it.’ And I caught it in my notes in my telephone. After which as soon as the riff was down, I feel I screamed out this line, ‘Can any individual please preserve me the hell out of San Quentin?’ And we simply took it from there.”
